Thanks for clicking the link in my Twitter profile—let me give you some background on who I am and what I do.
My name is Matthew Babbs, and I’m the person behind intangiblestyle and the @intangible twitter account. You can read some more about my web development style on the About intangiblestyle page—but let me take a moment to give you an idea of who I am and what I do.
I’m a 24 year-old Brit living in Carmarthenshire in Wales. I am a professional web developer, having been building websites full-time since 2008. I also write a blog about accessibility, usability, and emerging web technologies.
intangiblestyle web development
These days, it’s ever-more important to make websites really easy to use and accessible to the widest range of people. There are plenty of designers and developers out there with a loads of expertise on usability and accessibility, but it can be difficult for smaller businesses and organisations to find someone focused at their level. intangiblestyle aims to fill that gap—and provide elegant design and code as well.
intangiblestyle the blog
intangiblestyle is also a blog… about web development. It’s aimed at developers who want to incorporate usability and accessibility techniques, and at helping website owners understand how to improve their sites.
This blog covers everything from:
- developing for usability and user experience
- to developing and optimising for accessibility
- to using emerging technologies to enhance websites and applications
- to helping website owners get the most out of their site
